Getting Started
MicroTech is a UK-based managed cloud hosting provider specialising in high-performance GPU and CPU servers. We offer hourly and monthly rentals for NVIDIA GPU instances — from the RTX 3090 all the way up to the H100 — as well as CPU-only instances for general compute workloads. All hardware is fully managed by our team, meaning we handle driver updates, hardware replacements, and network maintenance.
Click Get Started or Create account on any page. You'll need to provide your full name, country, phone number, email address, and a strong password. Once registered, we'll send a confirmation email to verify your address. After verification, you can add a payment method and order your first server.
Most servers are provisioned and ready within 5 minutes of ordering. You will receive SSH credentials (Linux) or RDP connection details (Windows) via email as soon as your instance is active. In rare cases involving custom configurations, provisioning may take up to 30 minutes.
We offer the following operating systems:
- Linux: Ubuntu 22.04 LTS, Debian 12, Rocky Linux 9
- Windows: Windows Server 2022
Yes. You have full root/administrator access to your server and can install any software that complies with our Acceptable Use Policy. You can install Docker, Kubernetes, custom ML frameworks (PyTorch, TensorFlow, JAX), rendering software, or any other legitimate application.
GPU Rental gives you a virtual or dedicated server billed hourly or monthly. You only pay for the time you use, and you can cancel at any time. This is ideal for variable workloads, experiments, or short-term projects.
GPU Purchase / Dedicated means we procure physical hardware exclusively for you, co-located in our UK data centre. You own the hardware but we manage it. This is ideal for long-term sustained workloads requiring guaranteed, dedicated performance. Contact us for dedicated hardware pricing.

Billing & Payments
We accept the following payment methods:
- Credit cards (Visa, Mastercard, American Express)
- Debit cards
- PayPal
- Stripe (card & bank transfer where supported)
Hourly billing measures your usage per hour and charges are accumulated daily. At the end of each day (or when your balance reaches a threshold), an invoice is generated and your payment method is charged automatically. You can stop being billed at any time by shutting down and deleting your server from the dashboard.
Yes. There is no minimum commitment on hourly plans — you can cancel at any time from the dashboard and billing stops immediately at the end of the current hour. Monthly plans can also be cancelled at any time; they remain active until the end of the current billing period. See our Terms of Service for our full refund policy.
If you cancel a monthly plan within 14 days of your initial purchase and have used fewer than 48 hours of server time, you are entitled to a full refund under UK consumer law. For hourly plans, refunds are not issued for time already consumed. Pre-paid credit is refundable within 30 days of purchase, minus consumed usage. To request a refund, email [email protected].
Prices shown on the website and in the plan estimator are exclusive of VAT. UK VAT at the prevailing rate will be added to invoices for UK-resident customers. Business customers with a valid VAT number may be eligible for zero-rating on supplies. International customers should check their local tax obligations.
Technical & Servers
MicroTech provides a 99% monthly uptime SLA for all active server instances. In the event of an SLA breach, service credits are applied to your next billing period. Planned maintenance windows are announced at least 48 hours in advance and do not count against uptime. See the full SLA details in our Terms of Service.
All MicroTech infrastructure is hosted within the United Kingdom. This means your data never leaves UK jurisdiction, which is important for UK GDPR compliance and data sovereignty requirements. We do not currently offer multi-region deployments, but this is on our roadmap.

- NVIDIA A100 SXM (40 GB HBM2e)
- NVIDIA A100 SXM (80 GB HBM2e)
- NVIDIA H100 SXM (80 GB HBM3)
Yes. The Custom Builder allows you to configure up to 8 GPUs per server. Multi-GPU servers use NVLink or PCIe interconnects depending on the GPU model. For H100 instances, NVLink and NVSwitch provide high-bandwidth GPU-to-GPU communication, ideal for large-scale model training.
Linux servers: Connect using SSH with the credentials provided in your order confirmation email. Example:
Windows servers: Use Remote Desktop Protocol (RDP). Open Remote Desktop Connection (Windows) or Microsoft Remote Desktop (macOS) and enter the IP address and credentials from your email.

Security & Privacy
Yes. Your server is provisioned as an isolated instance; other customers cannot access your data or server environment. Data at rest is encrypted on NVMe storage. Network traffic between your server and our management infrastructure is encrypted in transit. We are compliant with UK GDPR requirements. See our Cookie Policy for information about data we collect on our website.
MicroTech personnel do not access your server environment or data without your explicit written consent, except where required by law, in cases of security threat to our infrastructure, or to perform essential maintenance (after notice). All administrative access events are logged and auditable.
Private networking between servers within the same account is available. Full VPC (Virtual Private Cloud) with custom subnets and routing is on our product roadmap for 2025. If you have specific networking requirements, please contact us to discuss custom arrangements.
Account Management
Click Forgot password? on the sign-in screen and enter your registered email address. You will receive a password reset link within a few minutes. If you don't see the email, check your spam folder or contact support.
Yes. You can provision and manage multiple servers from a single MicroTech account. Each server has its own billing, connection credentials, and resource configuration. You can view, start, stop, and delete all servers from your account dashboard.
To delete your account, first ensure all active servers are stopped and deleted and any outstanding balance is settled. Then contact [email protected] with a deletion request from your registered email address. We will process your request within 30 days. Your data will be permanently deleted from our systems in accordance with UK GDPR.
